Dining

Enjoy informal dining in the exquisite surrounding of our dining room which has been thoughtfully and sympathetically renovated. Original Danish carvings from the 16th century reflect the story that boats once used the brook in front of the pub to reach the nearby village of Swavesey which was an inland port. The boats and their tradesmen were Danish, and many of the crew settled in the area, perhaps attracted by the local pub!

Nestled in the picturesque countryside, close to the RSPB nature reserve which offers free parking, and at the same time handy for the city of Cambridge, The Three Tuns has much to offer. It provides a delightful setting for family celebrations, business lunches and much more. On entering the building you are greeted with an open fire in winter, and the traditional stone flooring in the bar area leads through to both the dining room and to the more informal area with comfortable pews and dining tables.
